Re: Detroit auto show *** pic!
You probably know that if you bring it to a gas station or mechanic, theyre required by law to take i and dispose of it properly. They dump it in a 55 gal drum and a waste oil service comes and picks it up when its full, and they have to pay the waste oil truck. Back in my old neighborhood there was only 1 mechainc within walking distance, so the whole hood was pretty much forced to bring their cars there if they planned to walk home. This guy knew this, and legally ripped everyone off, with a big smile.
So my friend danny and I save up our waste oil in buckets and **** until we have about 50 gallons (takes about 2-3 yrs) then at night we bring all of them to this mechanic, and leave them on his front step. The point of saving it up is that we know that he has to pay the oil pickup guy again, JUST FOR US.
We do the same thing to him with old car batteries. When we were younger and bored we used to collect shot car batteries and give the guy as many as my truck could carry without running on the bumpstops.
