+1. Working on the superduty involves a lot of hunching over and semi heavy lifting.

******* hub doesn't want to go on far enough to allow the lock nut to start on the threads. I'm going to install the hub as far as it will go, then put the rotor on to see where the emergency brake shoes line up. This will tell me if the inner bearing and seal are fully engaged.

I figured it out. The race for the outer bearing needs to be pressed in. It's at the machine shop right now getting pressed in.

Bearings are in, new diff cover is on, 3.5 quarts of royal purple 75w140 synth is in the diff. **** rides like butter again.

 

 

how much do they charge you for that? i would probably build/buy a press if they charge more than 25 bucks

or do you mean the shop at work that works for donuts and or beer?

when my f4i gets below 1500 rpm, one of the cylinders stops working. that really sucks for circles

Got my oil changed this weekend, went 5000 like you guys said, but I looked at the oil and it was really dark and dirty......won't do that again with synthetic blend.

But they ran out of the blend and gave me full synthetic for the blend price......I'm gonna go 4000 and see what it looks like......

 

I hadn't taken a **** all weekend......I finally took a **** just now and the pile was 2" out of the water......It was disgusting but I feel like a million bucks!!
