Well I got alot of **** that needs to be done on the boat still, but im laid off and proly shouldnt waste money on it.. thinkin of gettin rid of it anyways.. proly gonna stick to working on other peoples projects for awhile.. lol

Go to any real estate broker online and search for housing listings. You'll see hundreds priced under $1000. I did it myself. The problem is that even though you're buying the house for $500, you can't just buy it and let it sit. You have a certain amount of time to make it meet regulations which will cost you a lot. You also need to pay taxes on it, which are considerably more than the cost of the house.
Also, they auctioned off 9000 properties the other day and they didn't even sell.
