Some of you made suggestions before, by why wait till after the fact to just bash when it's too late?

im serious though. After the show we were helping Nunu's girl carry her stuff and the broad that won ran up to the promoter and jumped into his arms and they were talking like they knew each other forever

i remember looking at this event 1-2 months ago and seen this girl (a child) was setting this up..i just dont get it.

i figured the cyclepalooza event itself would be good, we need more events like it...hopefully they aren't turned off by a bunch of retards trying to be heros...

 

similiar to not paying someone to do your shows for you and keeping the money...sucks not getting money that is owed to you.

and as for the END OF THE EVENT....the botton line is that we could have had just as much fun having everyone come to jacksonville and killing our spot for the weekend, so don't try and play it that way. the stunt portion of the event was ****ed up, just face it.



the rest of the event seemed cool, the stunt portion can be saved. i talked to all 3 of the guys putting on the event. john,steve, and scott.

i spent over an hour of my time getting drunk with steve in the VIP area talking about ****. he admitted they did not know what to do with our end of the venue and that they relied on leslie and then gixxie to take care of that. they now know it was a mistake and any event held in the future will go down differently. They will be contacting me, and a few other selected people i refered them to, for future events.

and yea he got me wasted on Sunday so i cannot complain about that

i was there on my fiddy and it was s**t, no body there new what they were doing. most of the time they were calling the judges to come back cuz they kept leaving, and they didnt know what order the events were in. we did the sickest trick saturday. and sunday he was anouncing 50s sickest trick so 3 of us had to go convince them that we did this saturday. and i looked at the score sheet in his hand and it was blank so they didnt even score us for sickest trick. but i dont care about prizes i just wanted to ride. so im happy but feel sorry for those who do this for a living. i would be pissed to.

 

I have to ask this question:
Was there a rider meeting before the event?

 

I believe there was one on friday that gixxie held. But the judges didnt make it there until friday night late. And not all the riders made it friday. Some came in sat morning. The reason the judges kept leaving is because no one knew what was going on. We were getting frustrated and it was me who had them call the judges to the track. I didnt get any info on the judging until the day before the event.

 

so the pros judged the amateurs and who judged the pro's?

 

The judges didnt change. I did have Colbert join us in judging the Pros.

 

All in all was anyone dissatisified with the judging results??? We were there just to judge. Not to run the event.

 

i slept for a little while. i drove the last hour cause i was fine by then.

yea you guys suck, it was rigged, someone was paid off, i still don't know all the results so i am just ****n with you. i just figured i would call the typical bullshit response.

wasnt Emrock a judge? if so, didnt he also compete? im confused. my head hurts
