So after talking it over with a few owner of Cycle Palooza Let's get your opinions:

I've talked to Leslie and let her know that we need to make some changes. These changes aren't just in my head. This advice comes from 4 events of gixxie & the PROS talking and clearing some things up.

So what do you think of this:

PAY OUT CLASSES ARE AS FOLLOWED:

Sportbike PRO

1. Individual Freestyle
2. Longest Endo*
3. Longest Coaster*
4. Newest Trick*

*We will have PROFESSIONAL JUDGES! In the longest Endo comp judges will be using a LAZER light to determine the back wheel leaving the pavement b4 the line. And AIR HORN will blow if you fowl so you don’t finishing a bad run, you can turn back around and keep the show going. HUGE bright stickers will indicate where you finish your best run. Same will go for coasters. Newest trick will consist of a NEW TRICK no one has ever seen!

Sportbike AM

1. Individual Freestyle
*Pay out will still be determined. I am working on sponsors such as SUOMY helmet, Micron Exhaust, HyperPro USA, DynoJet. Please do not hold this to me. I am working hard at getting some GREAT prizes for placements.

FILL-INS

THESE FILL-IN Will be a POINTS system. So you will want to enter into as many as you can because there will be ONE HUGE prize!!!!!
Sportbike Events:
1.Team
2.Last Man Standing-12’Oclock, last man still in a 12 will win. (to enter: $10.00. The winner gets the POT and the HAT!)
3.Last Man Sitting- Highchair, last man still on his bike in the highchair position (to enter: $10.00. The winner gets the pot and the HAT!)
4.Most Circles- (Free entry. 1 Winner will win a PRIZE from one of our sponsors.
5.SICKEST GIRL TRICK- SICKEST DICKLESS TRICK: Means NO GUYS ON THE BIKE BUT A GIRL. Doesn’t have 2 b her streetbike.
WINS: Sponsored prizes from Gixxie Productions, Micron Exhausts, and more.
6.SICKEST TANDAM- This doesn’t have to be a NEW trick but make it HOT! Crowd will determine the win! WINS: Sponsored Prizes.
7.SLOW RACE TANDAM- Yes, this means 2 wheels on the ground but 2 persons on the bike! Feet touch the ground you are out. Last one to the finish wins!
8.*Burnout CONTROL- Lets bring it back! This is fun! You will go through an obstical the into a box, you will have 2 mins to get the crowd going! Crowd determines win!
9.Most STUNTERS on a Wheelie-If the front tires leaves it was a wheelie :o) Todd Colbert+ 9 Person= genus book of World Records!

*Burnout Control is still waiting for approval!
*REMEMBER RIDERS! This is all points, so find a TANDAM rider and compete in all the events!

How come the events, payouts, etc keep changing more than I change my underwear ?

Either way we are gauranteed to be there, but lets get this organized ASAP so teams/competitors know what to expect. Gixxie, Leslie, etc give me ring if you have any questions.

As for PRIZES...
Don't think SMALL.
The big POINTS POT will be money but also NICE NICE NICE PRIZES. I am working with companies like:
Micron, HyperPro, Suomy, and so on...Fine if you don't think a brand new HyperPro steering damper for your bike is cool then we will give it to someone else. Also for the 50's we will be gathering gift certificates to bike shops that love the off road fun. It will be fun and NICE don't worry.

CHILL! I talked this over to make it better for all u stunters cause of the events in the past. So if we did change this so what. Just one time to better the event and sorry i can't drive every day to WP and spend $80 for gas to sit down in a professional manner to get on the same page. This will be the most organized event ever. So don’t get your panties in a bunch yet.

If you READ the beginning you will read that it wasn’t just my decision.

This will not only be FUN it will pay too. And PAY also means free prizes that you stunters need. If you can't get the sponsors then why not aim to WIN a comp. here and take home a new product for your bike.

my personal suggestion would be to take most of the money you have and dump it into PRO Freestyle and PRO long endo. Team Freestyle could also be included in this.

these are the two 'premier' contests at any event, along with Team Freestyle.

Long coaster, etc are simply DISCIPLINES of FREESTYLE, so they should be paid like that.

Amateurs should not be paid for winning squat, they should get prizes and trophies...OR an amount of money that is miniscul compared to the pro payouts.

i could go on for days with this and will if you want...but the contests that will make this sport are going to be Individual Freestyle and Long Endo...Team Freestyle also does very well. Long coasters and last man standing, while very cool (and i would def enter them if i go) are not the marquee events.

you also need to post up the rules to the freestyle, etc as soon as you can BEFORE the event, that way there is no confusion among the staff or riders.

and WHO are these professional judges? i like the laser thing, although i would rather see more effort put into judging and scoring the freestyle.
