520 conversion

How long does a 520 last??

I have aset of Sprocket specialties 520 conversion and was told by the guy at the local shop it was going to need to be replaced in about 4-5000mi??

I had one on my 600 and it lasted fine for 4000mi, is he blowing me smoke or will it need to be replaced in about a year?

Im willing to bet each MFG is going to last differently.. Best bet would to be go directly to the sprocket MFG and ask them.. I know on my F4i I had to replaces stock sprockets at about 12k or so.???
