Josh!!!!!!!!!! just hit the dam things with some high grit emery cloth, same dam thing as sand blasting. Are you going to college to be an engineer or interior decorater.
One more problem with your 750 and I'm buying you a brand new 2004 gixxer so that warranty will take care of it all. Or just a buy a Yamaha and you won't have to worry about working on your bike, only finding time to ride it.
Seriously though, check the plates for warping or your wast'n your time.

How much could they cost, if they are bad you will have to buy new friction disks, its like breaks, if you replace a rotor allways replace the pads...its just how it works, save youself the headach, and JEFF its not an engineer way to do it its the GM way to do it, youve worked for them too long and no longer know the diffrence...

Yeah there is some GM thinking there. Almost every engineer I have contact with daily is so damn tight they squeek when they walk. And the others have 0 common sense you would be amazed at just how dumb somepeople that engineer cars are.
