So there I was, riding along when a cop passes me(in Petosky)and turns around. Naturally, I hit the gas cause I was doing 5-10 over, and he had to wait for a couple of cars before he turned. Passed a car doing 100, and went over a steep hill. Saw a stop sign coming up and a subdivision on the left. Braked and went into the sub, turned left, gave it gas, came to a dead end and pulled into the driveway of a house that looked like no one was home. Walked my bike to the backyard and thought I'd wait for a half hour and go to my uncles house. All of a sudden, here is a cop car tearing through the sub. Oh ****, how did they know I was in here...must have been that car I passed...BITCH. So I called my uncle to come get me. When he got there he said "They really want you bad and they know your in here. They have 3 cars driving around here looking for you and they checked our van out on the way in to see how many people we had, I don't think we can get by the checkpoint with you in here." So I gave him my jacket and helmet and took to the woods. I ran my *** off for about half an hour through the woods and a corn field. Finally hit a road and called my uncle on my cell. He came and got me. Whew. Now there was only the matter of my bike. I concluded that I was just going to go back the next morning and hope that they never found it and that the people either never came home or didnt notice it sitting in their back yard. We did a driveby a couple hours later, and saw no cops, so we figured they gave up. I got my helmet and rode it home at around midnight. Sooooo relieved. FTP.

P.S. When I was running, I burst through a hedgerow into someones backyard, and he was sitting on his deck drinking a beer. As I changed direction to the woods in back of his house, I waved and yelled out "I think I must be lost" and continued with my full sprint in motorcycle boots...

Annie was in my uncles van with his family following me back to his house. They delayed the cop by going slow when he turned around, gave me a few xtra seconds.
Stickers were on, probably why I got away, thanks Big T. :YEAH
Feel like a big now...a little better than the terror I was feeling when I was running through the woods. Had to throw that pair of underware away... .

 

Haha save em for Dan he likes to collect men's underware for some strange reason..
