I know you like to wheelies and I just don't think those Busa's like riding wheelies . I know they can do wheelies but that is a heavy bike to be riding two up wheelies on. You would probley have to set the Compression in the front springs heavy to keep it from bottoming ou on the way down. Have you looked at the ZX12's they are a sweet bike and in the same league as the busa.

They call it a supermoto bike, but I don't know how much I would want to jump it. It does look sweet, looks like a coool streetbike, I would expect it to be something similar to the Buell only way better.

Looks like I'm getting an FJR. Found one with 4k miles on it for less than my insurance check was. Probably going to pick it up. It's in New Jersey though, anyone want to ride out there next weekend?

Definitely silver, don't like the other colors they make. I'd only consider a black one but they don't sell it in black in the states yet. I even got my old windshield so I still have my sticker, you'll never even know it's a different bike. Except maybe this one will be faster as it hasn't had me flogging it for 45K miles...YET.

Or, wait and see if the rumored, possible V5, 200 hp, VFR 1200 is real for 2006. A number of the foreign mags have been talking a lot about a big VFR, whether the VFR or the Blackbird might receive Honda's V5, or if one model or the other is going to be dropped since both are seemingly heading towards the same destination. There have been a lot of pictures of unknown "Hondas" in the foreign mags, some of which were photoshopped, but some of which also look like a real bike. Whatever it is, the Blackbird has dissappeared from the lineup and that can only mean that "something" is coming.

 

Good point. Yeah, I have heard rumors of that nature as well. Damn, now I'm going to have to think about that. PM me how much you want for your XX and how many miles are on it. And don't try to tell me they are easy miles-I've seen some of the girls you tow along on that thing. j/k I know you take care of your stuff.

 

I have not made the final decision to sell it, as I don't know what's coming down the pipe and I have something else I am chasing. I don't believe it has more than 6,000 miles on it and its paid off. All services were done at a dealer and it carries the 5-year warranty that I believe is transferrable once. The rear tire is a 190 and newer due to a nail on I-75 late in the 2003 season. Dealer of origin was Cycle City up in the UP. Ordered direct (not taken from stock) from the warehouse, arrived there in a crate, fluids added, was NOT test-ridden (they had never seen one before, much less ridden one) trailered to me in Midland for pick up by the owner's son with 0.2 miles. Have pics of the dash and odometer on the night of pick-up. Bike came complete with a dead black-colored bird stuck in the lower fairing, which was discovered at the break-in oil change when the fairing was opened. No idea if that's some kind of "Blackbird" thing......no references to anything like that on the B.I.R.D. site.

It will be getting its annual service as soon as I get back next week, so it will be around for you to look at more closely. If anything, you can check it out and see if you like them. When I ordered mine, that place in Birch Run that always overbuys had two 2002's (silver) still sitting on the showroom floor. Most dealers don't even get one. You may be able to get a great deal on a leftover.

huh they must not want to watch me destroy another limited production bike because my buddy was looking to get a bike he wanted a 600rr i told him there was a New ERion 929 available that would be cheaper he said he wanted it so i called norm for him but never saying who the bike was for and he said it was gone and had been for a while. Told me he could hook me up on a new 954 but thats it.

 

we must have talked to two diffrent guys up there then.... It was awhite hairded dude... and I doubt it would be much cheapper...by bike years its probibly a classic...
