got off 475 at hill was going towards dort hyway and i pulled the front wheel up a little ( cause thats all i can do) but anyways grandblanc cop on bike sitting at the gas station seen me so he pulls me over and ask for my info then he says I pulle you over for pull the front wheel off the ground and the he walks away to another cop car the pulled up they ran my stuff he comes back and aske why i pulled a the wheel up and i said that i got a new sprocket and was not used to it yet, well he says he has been riding bikes 3 yrs before i was even born (83) so he says i know what it takes to ride wheelies and said that was the first thing he learn how to do so he was going to write a reckless and insted gave me a warning and said to not pull the wheelies in fornt of cops save it for the back roads, so all in all i got lucky :YEAH but know my 1st gear pull ups at stop lights wiil know come to a slow hault for know

I think Im the luckiest guy I ever even heard of when it comes to that been pulled over 5 times for wheelies, but it only took that one careless ticket to make me paranoid for life! I fought it n they dropped it down to falure to use due caution but it still looks like a careless on my driving record-n it seems like every frickin car on the road looks like a cop to me when I wanna wheelie

 

pulled second gear to about 100 mph one time and a cop seen me,i slowed down ,stopped at the red light ,he pulls up next to me and flashes spot light on me.with my heart in my stomach i look over at him and he rolls down his window and says.......do a wheelie man!while laughing as if he thought it was cool or somethin.

 

I guess we all get lucky!

on my way home tonight, I got pulled over by a state boy, said I was doing 10 over, which, I guess was about right, he came up, asked me where I was comming from, asked for my license, and asked how my driving record is....

I told him it is "pretty clean" and he said, "hmmm, Ok, have a good night" and I was off.

Dang, if he had only known how fast I was going two minutes before he spotted me and turned around, I think I'd be sittin in the pokey right about now!

I get ragged on for being so cautious about riding wheelies, but you have to pic your spots. After I got a careless nearly 3 years ago I've been very smart about it. I hate giving money to the state more than anything so I revised my habits. If theres a car nearby, you might as well figure its a po-po. The one time I didn't worry was when I seen motorcycle headlights and found out that it was a motorcycle cop.
