Honestly, I havent read or heard anything about them that impressed me, n i wouldnt expect that 100k belt to last,or to be rated for 100k of our type of riding, thats my uncles biggest complaint on his ultra glide,3 belts in 3 years-yes he rides the shiat out of it,but he`s not doin wheelies on an ultraglide either. besides-we both might be suprized how much american sweat goes into an R1.I used to help build kawasaki-suzuki robotics...in MICH.

I don't think you will even require a chain with the kevlar belt. You will come to greatly appreciate its silence, as well. Buy a NOS one, though. Higher coolness factor. With the money you will save, you can buy the Richmond 6-speed for it with the lower 1st and OD.
Then we can be Buell buddies and ride around together making lots of noise.

Maybe if you are on the XB platform it is... The X1's have a broader aftermarket with their Harley compatibility. Different rear sprockets are available on top of the factory export sprockets and the lower 1st gear of the Richmond 6-speed.
I'm not a heavy stunter by any means, but do you really need to re-gear if you have almost 100 ft/lbs off idle?
