Wow...just when I thought there were some intelligent people on here.
Well for the people that might not remember or know: Hulk from Miami Fl, (originally with the Miami Zoo Crew), Warren Jamez and J-Beats from Southern Cali, Crow from LA, Magnum from LA (Assistant Stunt Director for Biker Boyz), Bolo from Oakland, Scorpio from NY (OG Ruff Ryder- Stunt Double for Kid in Biker Boyz), SupaMax from NY...and not to mention King Rommel from North Jersey...and need I mention the bikes used in the movie Biker Boyz were built at the Ruff Ryders Motorcycle Shop in LA. Also Clubs/Chapter like the #1 Stunnas, Platinum Riders, etc. were started by former Ruff Ryders members.
I think its kinda whack to say "All" Ruff Ryders you met were as you said "tools"...I bet if you said it to their faces you'd get you head split.
All this to say that if any of y'all internet tough guys have occoplished any of this...then you have room to talk.
Personally, I respect what y'all do so I'm not here to judge but lets keep it real.
Stuff like this is why M/C's don't respect Stunt Crews. If you're not in Philly and you're not interested, keep it moving...and keep your whack azz'd comments to yourself.

i find it ironic that you are calling people ''internet tough guys''considering youre the one talking about people getting their heads split..
posts like yours are why alot of stunters dont respect rufriders and i bet most stuntriders couldnt care less if the rufriders respected them ..
while you were compiling your list of stuntriders that are rufriders did you consider how many stunters get paid to wear an rr vest but do nothing but take the money and laugh at the people who pay to wear the vest ?
i think the point most people were trying to make was when some one comes on a website called ''stuntlife'' and claims that the name rufrider is synonymous with stunting they may want to consider the fact that they may catch a little heat from stuntriders..

Re: Philly Ruff Ryders Stunt Team
Eh. I am with the R. I think it is naive to say Ruff Ryders go hand in hand with stunting since everyone in the ruff ryders knows that is not true. I'd say about 85 percent of Ruff Ryders don't even get their front wheels off the ground.
There are a lot of big headed people in the R though that give us a bad rep.
The R is a great way to make connections though when you have none. Which is why I joined, and I get 50 percent off at some places just for being part of the R. So it is not so bad. Plus it provides a lot of riding opportunities.
Anyways that was just my 2 cents.

Re: Philly Ruff Ryders Stunt Team
It's SCORPIO peoples. Getting the story straight:
Ruff Ryders stunt team was the first to bring sportbike stunt'n to the main stream media that could be why our name is tied to stunt'n.
BLOX:
20 NYC blox = 1 mile. You can set your odometer to it in any direction. If you can do one mile in the streets of NYC with pot holes deep enough to drown a midget, yellow cabs cutting people off, and a speed limit of 35mph ... then you had BLOX. If you could do 5 bloxs on one wheel you got to rock the chrome lid because it was a badge of skill. Keep in mind that all this was done on stock bikes. Custom paint, pipes and all but no sprockets, hand brake, scrape bars, cages, power ranger gear, etc.
BIKER BOYZ:
I was the main stunt double for kid on Biker Boyz and also designed all the bikes at our RR shop along with colorzone. Wink1100, Jason Britton, JT, Ricky Gatson, were all part time stunt doubles for kid also. They did the things that I could not do because at the time all these bikes were stock and we all had our specialty stunts.
I went through this argument with Wink when we first started RR motorcycle. It was a big thing because no one had blox like us at the time so why call them Ruff Ryders. Blox is now a culture ... custom bikes, racers, knee dragging, or stunts. Blox is your lifestyle in the sportbike world and if you up in the ranks within that culture then you got blox. It was a way to unit bikers of all cultures and styles under one love ... Bikes.
A lot of famous stunters out there today where once Ruff Ryders. From Todd Coldbert, Team Famous, Ricky Gatson, and even Brian McKnight (yes, dat r&b cat got the basics down).
I'm not going to talk bad about my fam but lets just say its hard to control who's let in when we're over 300,000 deep across the world! So I can't say every Ruff Ryder is the **** and can stunt.
I take my hat off to you new generation stunters because the **** ya'll do on a bike now is crazy and I'm lovin it. My bikes are custom yet still stock. I have yet to pop the clutch on a bike with more than 48 teeth on the rear. It's personal pref and I hold nothing against the tools on the bikes used today to achieve the stunts performed. I love it. Hope this cleared some things up ... BLOX!

Re: Philly Ruff Ryders Stunt Team
I'm from all the way out in Australia and i have to say we know about the ruff riders being pretty big. stunting doesn't really stretch out to my corner of the world but the ruff riders name sure has. i didn't know there were chapters? are there ruff riders chapters in australia?
Re: Philly Ruff Ryders Stunt Team
This is Billz from RR Canada, just chiming in. we respect everything yall stunters do! Point Blank Period. what Prez is getting at is he wants to see if anyone would like an oppourtunity to do what they do, but be on a worldwide level with little to no effort. Just a small comparisson much like the RR artists the realize they have the talent and we have the contacts so y not work towards a common goal.
if u love stunting and someone is offering up shows, money, recognition, for the cost of free representation or sponsorship, y not.
i had to prospect n pay my dues, learn the history, and fall in when my line bros effed up, my close friends and family didnt understand y i did it..but at the end of it all...i feel good cause it was something that for the first time in my life i completed...everyone has their own reason for what they do n y they join. but hell if stuntin is what u do..take a chance.
just my piece but just keep things civil people.
