i did go to summit point, and i ran 1.28's on my first track day. lap record is 1:15 i think...anyway 1:28s are fast, as in knee draging around all the turns fast. so you mr. red line can suck my poser deick...
steping to a 1000 is not just about more HP, its also about alot more money for insurance, and they can not be riden like a 600, these bikes(all 1000's) have an incredible amount of power, coming out of turns with a little to much throttle will easlily spin the back tire, or bring the front end up and go into a tank slaper.
so ride what you want to ride for whatever reason, but all the hate on me because i tell it like it is, is stupid. the R1 and ZX10 are superior bikes, buy what you want.
