i think i put around 3500-4k miles on my bike during the norcal to NOLA trip.

Tech
- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
- omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping

actually, i was gonna go this past summer but i decided to hit the south after Deals Gap. then i said i was gonna go in 09 but i saw pics of colorado's mountainside curves and i said i'd hit NY in 2010. then i remembered how i loved the west coasts mountainsides, so i've decided that 2010's trip will start in Seattle, WA

some squid tried saying my 1000 was a tiny bike and how he had a big ol' busa. we talked about riding though, and i put more miles on a weekend than he does in months and he's never done any far riding nor raced, nor stunted. i pretty much told him he had all that bike for nothing.

I always just flew in. It's easier that way. Actually, I've driven a couple times. I don't mind the drive in a car. It's only 2 days and you get to stop at South of the Border on the way home to buy fireworks. One time on the way down I got food poisoning in VA at a Dennys. That second day was hell.

My kids go to kansas for 1 month of the summer. I dont know which month yet, but hopefully its the month before july 12th

The funniest thing was being on teh road, and seeing $40k hooked up touring harleys that are more comfortable than my couch.. Being hauled in the back of a 1987 toyota with no radio and no ac, no reclining seat, and a huge dude crammed in there driving it.

i rode one that i worked on. put about 35 miles on her. at slow speeds it feels so heavy but it really lightens up at faster speeds. i still wouldn't get one. my 1000RR is perfect for me.
