well ... IT and computers is pretty much the same thing lol ... Information Technology

you can do simple desktop support or you can get into specialty areas like servers (netware, linux/unix, microsoft), or routers, switches, and firewalls (cisco, nokia), or a security specialist, or wifi specialist, or you can get into programming ... all depends, which is why I suggest going to community college so you can try a class for each and if you like one that can be your concentration .... also try to get someone to let you shadow them for a day that is in the industry .... get your mom to buy a plane ticket and you can come here for 2 days and i will show you so much it will make your head spin lol

i agree ... only thing that made me leary .... sounds like they are saying, we'll help you and cut your payment down but then we aren't letting you turn a huge profit - which is kind of fair .... you would have to do some speculation and figure out if paying less now and making less when you sell would be better than continue to pay more than what the home is worth and maybe make more - if the market catches back up in value

 

if i could do one thing over again, i would go back to when i decided to go into IT and kick myself in the dick and go into pharmacy .... it's 5 years and school is tough but starting out at 100 grand right out of school is worth it to count pills and put them in a bottle.

I could care less. The plan would let me move to a nicer house sometime in the next decade without having to drop $70,000 to cover the amount that my loan is upside down now. I'd rather give half of a $10,000 profit they pay out the $70K just to move.

This part is the sticking point for me though:
be unable to afford their current loan, but did not intentionally miss payments.

 

I disagree. When I was looking to leave my last place I went on 4 interviews and there were many other openings I didn't even apply for. Maybe it's just in your area
