Strictly , i'm gonna say your 4.3 is throttle body injected . Do the flash codes . I don't have a manual here to tell what those pids are

Re: Omr Subcage

Anyways , if the ecm is telling you it's running rich on both banks , your o2 sensor is probably sensing that . Which means the fuel isn't firing . Which means maybe your plug wires are bad and not letting the plugs fire under a load .

Also that throttle body should have 2 injectors . You can take the air cleaner assembly off and watch the two spray downward .

How is your truck running . ( aside from the tranny problem you think you also have )

Re: Omr Subcage

I cant ride for the next week so I figured Id do some work on the bike. One of the jobs was removing the broken header bolts coz I have an exhaust leak which sounds like **** and I think affects the power of the bike. I cant get these ****** header bolts out for ****. I tried PB Blaster which Mike told me about. I tried some stuff that you spray on for 20 seconds which is supposed to freeze any rust off so you can remove the bolts. Cant get these ******* off. I removed the radiator and took the headers off for easy access. Anyone have anything I can try before giving up and putting **** back together

some people get to caught up in the codes and don't consider why the codes are there...

i have seen cars with a bad plug wire throw so many codes and when the wire is replaced there are no codes

the TPS is bad, for starers. The valve body in the trans is worn out. Which means it is loosing pressure(fluid is getting by)... im gonna look into it more tonight or tomarrow. It needs plugs and stuff too.

exactly... 99% of people that get a 1870 code with GM jump directly to rebuild there trans. Half the time it's low fluid causing the code or like in my case valve body is worn out causing pressure problems

i just seen that i can swap a corvette servo in place of my 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th for 35bucks a piece... they say it's almost the same as running a shift kit for stock trans maybe i'll do that if the servo's are fucked up as well

Re: Omr Subcage

They may also be used as an aid in the removal of common right-hand screws. Since the rotation of the drill bit is such as it would loosen the screw, using it to drill into the damaged screw head will usually remove the screw, providing the bit "grabs" the damaged material successfully.

you put your drill in reverse and drill a hole in the middle of the bolt and as you get towards the bottom of the bolt it will usually thread right out of the block ...
