ronald used to use one. during loading it would always want to un-tilt as soon as the front wheel got past the tilt pivot. So he would have to stand right on the rear edge of the platform until the rear tire got on it, which sucked.

It's damn near impossible to load two bikes by yourself. A second person can stand on the back of the trailer to keep it tipped though. I use my tilt snowmobile trailer for my bikes but I use ramps. It's easier.

Speaking of loading and unloading, I kinda want a hand brake just to make it easier to unload.

The trailer is 3' wide, so it's only one bike. Just wondering if it was a pain for the reasons that Mike said it was.

The front brake is on the wrong side. I always move a bike from the left side. It doesn't feel right from the right side. Plus the front tire is more apt to slide since most of the weight is off it.

Depends on where the pivot is. It looks pretty far back on that one. I'd use a ramp.

Its so low that if you used a ramp, it would only need to be 4 feet long. you could make brackets to hold the ramp during travel.

mine has a lot of clutch drag. and since my ramp angle is so shallow, gravity isnt enough to overcome the clutch drag once the rear wheel hits the ground

Re: Omr Subcage

I know I'm going to get confused and pull the clutch in to stop the bike and I'll go tumbling off the back of the truck.

I've never seen anyone load a bike from the right unless it was loading a bike on the left side of an enclosed trailer or loading 2 bikes in the back of a truck (2 people normally load that though)

It works really well with the raptor lever because you have more control onhow much it slips.
