ive worked on my jeep like twice. I change the oil once a year and never do any maintainence. I dont care, it runs fine. It is starting to get a little tired tho

I put 250K on my Chrysler and it ran like a top until I crashed it into a ditch. The only thing I ever replaced besides brakes and struts was the fuel pump.

not true. tundras and titans didnt rate as high as the tacoma and frontier in reliability. even luxury cars don't compare to the japmobiles. a survey done by consumer reports stated that an 8 year old lexus is less likely to give problems within 3 years than a brand new BMW. if that's the kind of machine the japanese are building, then thats the machine i want.

i've done a lot of research, trust me. as well as taken tons of opinions into consideration. the only people who love american trucks are the ones that like tons of power and often thats what they like about them. for me, its reliability, and what i'm choosing has to last me a very long time, thus i'm going with whats been proven time and time again by research companies and people with experience.

Everyone I know that's had a gm truck for a long, long time has had very few problems with them. I find it hard to believe that gm trucks aren't considered reliable.

Not the way I fucked it up. I hit the concrete that was poured around the culvert. It pushed the front wheel back into the door.

i've only known one guy to stand by GM. either way, i rather go by overall ratings, not just opinions. if GM had a solid reputation with testing companies, i'd certainly go with them, but it doesnt have a strong, historic rep, so i won't.

i love the way old jeeps look, the ones with the tops that come off. if it were a good investment, i'd buy one of those and keep my stuntbike on one of those motorcycle carriers that mounts onto the back of the car.

like such...

It's a fucked up story but I was on my way to the bar. I had whooping cough at the time. I'm going down this big hill and the cough hits me hard. I can't see and get too close to the edge of the road. I get sucked into a wash out and pop up over the culvert. The bad part is, when I was leaving the house my wife said I shouldn't be driving because I'd start coughing and go off the road. I don't think I ever told her how it really happened.
