im speaking from expeirience not from theory , if you lower the front of the bike you are less likely to skid the front tire and the bike comes up to balance point quicker but the balance point sweet spot is smaller
if you raise the front of the bike you are more likely to skid the front tire and it takes a little longer to get the bike up but the balance point sweet spot is bigger

think of it like doing a stoppie going up hill compaired to doing one going dowm hill , now what i am saying isn't as extreme as my example but it is the same effect just smaller

Tech [list][*]The 03-06 CBR 600rr & the 03-05 Yamaha R6 pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! [*]The 01-03 gsxr's have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section[*]THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lowers 3 inches wider (Then stock)[*]All other models are in the stock location except they are rotated on there axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.[*]

now don't get me wrong i still think you should put the longer forks on because the 929 forks were too short to begin with and the one inch longer forks will put you back where you needed to be from the start but trust me when i tell you raising the front of the bike will counter effect the mod you did ,maybe not completely but there will be a counter effect

i got 929 front end on my f4i. love it. i wonder what a stock one would be like though. i got the bike with the 929 front.

oh, nah. did u read all of it. some weeks they have some crazy **** on there. one person admitted to having committed a crime and someone else having got sentenced for it for 11 years. all kinda ****. the books are pretty awesome. makes for a great date to take a chica on the bike to a bookstore and just read the book together. then take her home and bone her, lol. cheap too.
