I think im pretty much decided on moving out there....I been thinking about it, and I want to be in CO permenently in about 1 yrs. time. That will give me a lil more time to pay as much stuff off as possible and get money built up for the move itself. Money is not worth sacrificing happiness!!!!!!!! no matter what the $$$$

Ford calls their suicide doors "super cab" and the 4 full doors "Crew cab"

Quad cab is a Dodge term.

GM goes with extended cab and crew cab.
And yes I do think it's retarded that they all call it something different, but if you want to be a truck guy learn the difference even if you don't know who calls it what. Also learn step side/ style side/ fleet side stuff.

The 4 full doors were never called a super cab by Ford, but back in the day Ford called the extened rear area (before the suicide doors) a supercab. I don't know if back in the day if they called the suicide doors an extended cab or not, but it seems to me it would be a good way to differentiate between the trucks with suicide doors and those with a rear seat and a folding front seat.

The 4 full doors were never called a super cab by Ford, but back in the day Ford called the extened rear area (before the suicide doors) a supercab. I don't know if back in the day if they called the suicide doors an extended cab or not, but it seems to me it would be a good way to differentiate between the trucks with suicide doors and those with a rear seat and a folding front seat.

my truck is a 2000 ford f150 4x4 offroad
it has full front doors and half side suicide rear doors with a back seat. It was called an extended cab on the factory sheet...idk anything about trucks, just commenting on what it said when i just bought it. the full size 4 door addition was a crew cab or super cab or something i dun remember which
