he is probably saying thats the most likely way the tabs could brake from a side impact but if the scrape works subframe is made out of chromolly it flexes alot and chromolly can flex realy far and not stay bent thats why its so good and it can take alot more abuse then mild steel
mild steel tends to be a little stiffer but when it does bend it usually stays bent but it can be bent back and still hold most of it's strength

then it will flex alot and come back to its original shape ,kind of like a shock absorber for your frame....lol good stuff

pan caked the hell outta my **** twice tonight and the subframe cage held up perfect the peg even folded up and didn't break ......

i mouse trapped a high chair and cracked the plastic upper stay from my body weight being on they wind screen but nothing from those two crashes so i made a new stay out if steel

the stay worked fine rode tonight and thought the extra weight would mess with my circles but it didn't....i think its only like a pound and a half but i forgot to put it on the scale
