it is hella easy to make the reinforcement mod, do it for him and tell him to quit actin like a weenie.... just cause he breaks subframes repeatedly.

 

yea I think i told him somthing like that I dont think i out it as nicley as you did though.

 

tell him to say fvck the bar i just rocked a FI cage on mine and chopped the stock muffler just enough so when i scraped it looked like i scraped the tail. plus it made good sparks<< that was the most awesome line ever (titanium muffler)

 

yea the bar is off now but hes still skurred.

yeah, i dont plan on blowin out the tail on mine... but the titanium can does make some nice sparks!:YEAH

just got a 03 r6 my buddy wrecked. all it had was a lil bit of plastic damage so it took off the fairings, headlights and guages. it lightened the front end up like crazy!!! this is my first stunt bike so im ready to tear the crap out of it!!!!! haha!!!! if anybody wants the guages let me know and give me a offer.

How far can one wheelie an r6 before the lack of oil kills it?

A lot of people don't realize, but Yamaha's have great low end power. They are a little twitchy, and the balance point is really far back there b/c the motors sit so low and center in the frame but they do have really good power.

I am torn between Yamaha and Honda for the track, both ride great!

i rock this thing for days... and havent had a problem with oil yet.

 

I havent gone real far but I covered about a mile at around 9-10 grand and the oil light never came on. I think pre 03 had a front pick up and they moved it to the back on newer models.

Does anyone actually know where the oil pick up is on the '03 R6?

True or False... the '03 R6 takes more skill to hold up?


I agree the R6 has alot of low end power, but NOT the NEW R6, that thing is a total dissapoinment on the low end & your freakin inner thighs end up feeling like your on a horse, what's up with that Yamaha!

 

well owning both models... i have to say, that YOU might not be able to get with it. but this bike is way more killer than the 03-05, the lowend power is only felt for maybe a fraction of a second... it rev's too fast to notice it.
