Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

i like to see street footage in a vid, just because parkin lots get boring when its all that is on the vid. Also some humor/stupid stunts just cause that always makes things interesting. Sound track is another big deal because without a good sound track the vid sux. Definatly bike sounds.... and.... *******!

FACT: You will NEVER satisfy everybody while making a video and it is nearly impossible to include something that Everybody likes without making it boring/long.

The closest videos to be even be near making 85% of the people happy would probably be Darius's as he adds variety to every new video that he puts out (Different stunts, locations, riders, etc.). Props goes out to Darius . It does pay to have $$$$ in your pockets to waste though .

Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

videos i like for entertainment are a little bit of everything, parking lot, comp, highway, maybe a scene or2 of having some regular fun, quad, DB, go kart, whatever, little bit of rap music and rock whatever to get ya int othe flow of stuff, and of course some new different shocking new ideas and stunts is always a bonus with some crashes, but everyone likes to see crashes and its cool to see people learning and trying to get a new stunt instead of seeing them have it down. like in Jason brittons get on up it shows him learning and progressing circles instead of already having them on lock lol makes me feel better about myself , just my

Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

I think music plays a huge roll in it. Back in the day when even long highway wheelies were uncommon, the videos were put together to show people you were doing something crazy, now that more people are getting into the sport for us, seeing people wheelie/stoppie, is kind of common, so seeing it in a video isn't going to make our jaws drop, that's why you have to add in other elements to make it better than other vidoes...for example better editing, maybe a plot, new tricks, and really awesome music. Music can make or break a vid...

Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

You don't have to have street footage for the video to be good, you just have to mix it up. There's never been any street footage in any of our clips yet we can't keep bandwith up when we post a clip. It's all about music, motorcycle sounds, editing, riding, angles, scenery, etc.... Keep people on their toes is what it's all about.

Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

I think the most Important thing to a video is Editing. If the person who is good at doing the editing they will make a 45 minute video seem like 5 minutes. Second to editing imho is riding. I don't care if you're in a parking lot or not. if u got talent and skill it will show through. Of course there is the hardcore audience who is looking for riding and location. From a general outlook tho i think editing has the biggest impact.

Re: Stunt Videos In Todays World

Lots Of Vids Used Helicopters In'em. I Don't Know If They Were The First, But Star Boys Had The Chopper Footage In Keywest, That Was Back In The Day. Gmo Had Some Chopper Footage To. I Wonder How Much All That Chit Costs?

I Give Evryone Respect For Making Their Own Vids. Takes Alot Of Time , Marketing & Money... Not To Mention The Badda$$ Riding In Alot Of The Vids Today.
