Everyones Reaction To MTVs TRUE LIFE
Re: Everyones Reaction To MTVs TRUE LIFE
MY honest opinion----
Overall< MTV did a good job putting the show togother.
I really enjoyed Geared up and PBR'S segment.
This show puts it in prespective about the sport and how indivuadly we all have different attitudes and opinions.
As far as the Triple x Treme segment. Its really too bad that we filmed for the show at a real stressfull moment cause we had a lot of fun as a team too.
But is is what it is
I thought it was funny to see how stresed out we were ---
Cause we are actually pretty fun people in real life.

great to see that the sport is starting to get a little recognition. I think the drama with XXX just shows how stressful it can be when you are doing things to make your dreams come true. I also feel that some of what took place was put best by Kyle....we aren't 4 years old....nows the time to work as a team. Sh*t happens and you learn alot about people when times get hard.
Best of luck to Geared Up....you all look great!!!!!
and of course I always have much love for Digidy!!!!

Thanks to G'd Up
Those segments where the only professional parts
To bad everyone couldn't show the same attitude...
But..its "True Life" right?
I've seen people hating on the PBR segments...it is what it is...just that!
Aaron and Digidy where "keep'n it real" (no bull$hit for the camera)

just finished watching it and i know my word doesn't mean much(all I am is a competitor not famous) but digity's ending words were great i taped it and rewound it and played his part over cause it's completly true everything he said through out the show was dead on keep it up! i liked the whole video geared up, pbr mint! i thought that kyle and tony had drama which is funny cause i never knew that after reading all the post on here for ages never knew that they were a team at 1 point and tony left him for another group that day (east 2 west) anyways mad props! all around i liked it and i was happy with it besides the drama between groups!

I gotta say though Tony D had the right attuide when it came to just making a phone call. His F the mom and pop shop isnt the way either though. You gotta take what you can get. The Temp Tat Idea was good. I think its better hes off that team though as he is a def front man and you cant hold back and say tell me what your doing. beofre you do it.
I thought the show was cool, I didnt really like that guy anthony
He was an *******, but I think stunts are phat and i cant wait to get my street bike license- Monica

I thought the show was great, hats off to the Stone Bros. PBR I thought was the best segment tellin it how it is, Geared up was a little too serious but they are chasing a dream and alot of us can relate. TripleX showed the drama side of the sport which was unfortunate but they are still one of the best teams out there. Also it showed what kind of a person Tonyd really is...
Re: Everyones Reaction To MTVs TRUE LIFE
They managed to fit a half hour show into 60 minutes, by adding double the commercials, but anyone who's seen MTV knows about that. At least they had that bike bouncing off the limiter when they came back from commercial so I could come back into the room and not miss any of the actual show.
I was glad to see a pro-stunting program on a "mainstream" channel like MTV, but I was somewhat dissappointed with the content.
It's a step. Not sure about the direction - forward or sideways, but it's a step...
I was glad to see that everyone was from Florida though.
I didn't go to Stuntwarz, but a bunch of my fellow club members did. I worked at Dirty B's NSRA event in Gainesville and saw some of the guys there up close.
I dunno - unless I'm doing the stuff myself, watching other stunters isn't really that exciting anymore unless it's a new trick or just a sick example of mad skillz.
