Clutch replacement??

Just curious about replacing my clutch. Its not bad yet but the bike has 13000 miles and I bought used so I figure I might need one eventually. Ive looked some up and I noticed they have Kevlar and some regular which should I go with?? Its a 98 CBR900rr all I mainly do is stunt it no racing or nothing else.

and also how hard is it to do it yourself?

Re: Clutch replacement??

If your clutch changing skillz are as good as your chain-and-sprocket changing skillz, you should have no problem.

Its pretty easy, just take off the case, take off the springs, take out the steels and fibors, then put it back in in the same order you took it out , just make sure the steels are all facing the same way, you have a sharp side, ans o smoth side, just make sure there all in the same direction, and if your steels are all black looking you can skuff them with a wire wheel till there silver again. be carefull when putting in the spring bolts the tend to break.
