It throws the geometry off during cornering....you would ALWAYS be able to corner better and faster with the 17" rim on the front.

Sounds just like a 929 to me, hell you ARE talking about the 929, besides the engine is only bored out 11 more CC.

I don't understand why you want a bike that is basically 11 years old, the 929 is an all new design.

I love mine, but the fuel injection on the 929 etc. is a wonderful thing to have thats for sure. In a few years from now we're all gonna have to search and search for used 900/929/954's to stunt. All these new bikes are so fragile and cost a damn arm and a leg to repair if you wreck one. The good stunt bikes we're all ridin are gonna become extinct before to long.

Re: Who votes Honda should bring back the 900RR

the manufactures are not looking to make stunt bikes. they want to make the fastest and lightest sportbike to fuel their race teams desire to be in the front of the pack. saying you want an old bike is like saying you would rather have an old cadillac over a new escalade. with new technology comes new advances in equipment and therefor comes faster bikes, i.e. what the manufacturers want!

at one time the 900rr you are talking about was too much money or too high tech for someone also. but just like it, people will make cages and think of someway to get the price of parts down in a few years. so hopefully people (squids) will buy and tear enough of the 1000rrs up that we will be able to one day buy them cheap.

last thought: a new 900rr would cost as much as many new 600s at least if not more.

my . thanks for reading.

900 is a great stunt piece.....other then that, it's an out dated, big *** heavy slow piece of poo. Looks good though. I just diched my '98 900 for a 954, no comparison! The new bikes are the shizzle!
