Re: where is this sport going (really)

i remember last summer i was practicing at a school and four little kids around 10 years old walked over to watch me. those kids went back and got there moms phone and were taking pics and videos of me. i took a break and talked to them for awhile. they were so excited to see me do those kind of things on a motorcycle! i told them why i did it in the school lot and not on the streets, and they understood. it was nice to put a smile on their face and listen to them say that they want to do that when they get older. i hope the sport grows into alot more, but if it dosnt, i will be happy to just keep doing what i do! ya its nice to get attention from the girls as well, but its alot better to be appreciated by a fellow rider who understands how much blood, sweat, and tears it takes to do what we do!

Re: where is this sport going (really)

i am just a lowly stunter and within the next year probably will not have the skills to make any kind of an impact on the sport. in a year two that could change, but right now that is reality.

look, this **** pretty much blew up when a small group of remarkably talented riders hit the seen. i think you all know who you are, but in case there's any question, i'll name a few- marino, darius, vertical, molina, flores, brown, tony d, kyle woods, and yes i gotta mention digity just cuz he's such a character lol!, etc..., these riders made an impression enough on the rest of us start a movement, what we know today as street-stunt. lets face it, in the beginning(street-stunt) was more of a lifestyle than a sport, and a few riders, no matter how good, still prefer to leave it that way; others, with competitive nature's, have adopted it as a sport.

street-stunt is still a young sport but, thanks to the dedication of a shitload of phenomenal riders, has blown up in just a short time and if the what i see now(from the riders) is any gauge of what's to come, look out x-games here we come!
