ha ha ha dont you wish someone would call you the little guy, oh yea they do, hey that dude looks like he's got a litle guy wrapped around his belly, or he looks like he ate a little guy

And I think a coaster comp would be cool just not sure if the fans would like or could appreciate something like this, and coasting 1500ft+ would be easy on a smooth surface, where would we find a place to coast a 1/4 mile and still have enough room to get up to speed?

I like the idea. Anything is better than slowest wheelie. Details can be worked out, but slowest wheelies has to go and longest coaster sounds like much more entertaining comp for both riders and fans.

the first coaster comp I saw was in PA at the M.O.M. sponsored show and it seemed to be a BIG crowd pleaser and I had a good time watching
and I consider myself a true fan even tho I ride(I paid my way in to watch)

Any dragstrip has MORE than enough room, and if we start to coast beyond the capacities of the strip, we limit acceleration room.

I agree that it is a good idea. If you think about it, most of the people that spectate at comps (for now, anyway) also ride. Anyone that rides and has tried a wheelie will partially understand the difficulty and skill involved in rockin' a long coaster. It'll just take a bit of educating on the announcer's part. As long as the trick is explained beforehand, most people will understand what the riders are trying to accomplish. Even though I ride, I am still amazed by the balance that some of you guys have.

HA, i wish

Believe me, lots of guys can coast just as far as me, you saw D's vid of 1300ft and last time in FL ME, Brandon, Jay SOI and Merk were going at it with a short run in and were all going about the same distance. I can think of at least 8 people that have 1000 fters in them NOW, let alone how many will after some practice.

Longest coaster sounds good to me! Just gotta expalin to the crowd what they are watching. I think the average spectator could appreciate this if they know what is going on.

That said, I gotta quit being a ***** and start doing these on the bike and not just the quad!

ok guys, heres how you solve the problem of peeps goin to far, if that possible!! Give then a starting point and only a 3-400 ft. runway, there for SKILL comes into play instead of commin in mach-8. Problem solved!!

I agree about the skill part of it, but it's the comin in at mach-8 that the fans would want to see, i think sclevela put it best...

i say let us go ***** to the wall, then if more than one guy goes the whole allowable distance, we have a final between the two of them (or 3 or more) from a 400 ft run to determine the winner. Best of both worlds eh???

My $0.02 I think it should be done but pinning the throttle WFO revlimiting the whole way. then you got danger, noise, skill and maybe even a explosion!!!! what do you think any takers

slowest wheelie is just that, slow and boring after about 5 passed we go get food.

now longest coaster that would be fun to watch.

" OH $HIT HE'S GOING DOWN, D@MN HE SAVED THAT $HIT"

keep the fans happy WE are the one that pay to get in.

by We i mean, i am a fan.

You gonna pay for my motors???

that and the possibility of the clutch cable snapping are the two reasons i hardly ever do those
