i snapped a chain on my 900 and now when i let the clutch out my motor knocks . anyone have any ideas? if i pull my clutch in it doesnt knock

 

all i can sat is pull the clutch basket off and see if it looks all good on the inside

 

it's not a motor knock if it goes away when you pull the clutch, I would first check the ummmmm- CLUTCH

 

Mine does the same damn thing..mostly at idle though

 

probably damaged a plate or the basket. take it apart, it will be easy to see the prob.

 

mine does it too nothing to worry bout its the clutch ...39k miles on a clutch do that sometimes...it makes kind of a clunk clunk noise but when u pull in the clutch it stops right?? and if you rev it it stops too?? thats the same deal mine does...i need a clutch so we'll see when i change it out
