my 98 gixxer 750 motor hAS 5567 miles,and a knock,i think it could be cct,but i bought a 99 motor just incase,it has 7000 miles and runs mint.
1)if the motor is knocking(Top END) what does the rebuild cost.

2) on the motor i bought ,while it is out i will have new rings and a manual cct installed any one know how much new rings will run me $$

sure it's not the rod bearing? thats a common failure on those motors.

by the way i think you should donate your motor to me since mine just blew....please:cool:
