I am in the same process im not sure which one to get either. I like the 900 because they are a tank great strong front end. But the 929 and the FI is awsome. Im not to sure about the front end on the 929 it seems a little poorly put together.

 

I'm going to look at 98 900 RR with a 929 complete front end. I heard 929 brakes are suppossed to be sweet so? I don't know like I said before as a mother, aren't we all. I think I'd love a 929 but then again RR are so proven in this sport and all the top boyz are still runnin' them so they can't be all that bad.

go for the fuel injection, reliable, predictable, and and easier to work on...

 

i've only sat on the 929. and it feels comfortable. I would go with that one. plus everybody else's vote goes to that one too.
