I want to do a 929 front end conversion on my 99 900. Are the parts interchangable?

I want to put the forks, brakes, and rotors on but dont know if they will fit.

Do the wheels off the 929 fit on the 900RR? I will probably just use the fornt wheel for now. Right now I have the 17 in. wheel off the f3 on there and want to put the 929 front on.

929 brakes are the ****!!!! 900 brakes are too though.

Yeah I figured it would work but wasnt sure. I know the bearings will have to be changed and that I will probably need to do the whole conversion. Like lower and upper clamps and 929 steering stem and all that. Hopefully it will work.

My front end thats on there now is about to take a **** on me. It is so rigged it focking ridiculOOOUUUS


I have 98-99 clamps, steering stem
96-97 forks
98-99 calipers
F3 front wheel and rotors

I've been running a 929 front end on my 900 for a year now.***** pimp.Don't know if the bearing size in a f3 rim is the same as a 929.Stay with a 17 though...Thats the best shot of it I got.peace

Are you running the entire front end? Forks, clamps, steering stem, brakes, master cylinder, rotors, front wheel, and calipers?

How do you like it? Right now my setup is jacked. Spacing is all messed up.

hey man, I ride wit JB, and ride his bike, WE are running the entire front end, forks, clamps, steering, brakes.... all of it... bolts right the **** on!! makes the 900 feel different, personally, i ******* love it! So does JB...

I am going to bolt that bitch on this week!!! I like the stock 900 setup but mine is all jacked and I have a full 929 front end just sitting here so I said **** I should just bolt this **** on and be back in business.

ANy more cali shows coming up? I saw that you went down and rode with darius and SBF a few times. Cali is a little closer to us than florida so next time you go down let us know. We will make the journey too!!!!!!!!!
