I had a nice long message but the window washer erased it all.

I'll make this short.

I am sending the money off tomorrow for a set of new sprockets and a chain.

O-ring chains are good but outdated. I am getting the x-ring chain which rolls smoother and has less tendency to bind.

Stock for me is 16F/44 reaR...........

I am getting a 14F/ 44rear........................

What can I expect with
wheelies,

over all top end speed,

and speedo changes?

your gonna see a little difference but not a whole lot. going down 2 in the front is gonna take about 25 off your top speed, and give your some more torque. If you want a big difference and have your bike still able to make it on the highway your should have went up to about a 50 in the rear. If you plan on just stuntin I would say at least 54 in the rear, it's pretty much whatever your comfortable with and what you want to do with your bike.

If your going to go with that small of a gearing change you might want to go up in the back a few and not just -2 in the frunt. -1+3 for example would be about the same gearing change. The smaller you go on the frunt the faster your chain is going to wearout.

Don't waste your money dropping teeth in the front. Go up in the rear. You have to bye a new chain anyway, bye a longer one for going bigger in the back. Chains last longer too!!

bikerboy has a spectacular aura aboutbikerboy has a spectacular aura about
learn to "ride" or learn to stunt.....

That is the question.........

So basically stick with stock even though I have decades of riding experience? Well maybe not decades but appx 15yrs.....Just tried to wheelie in High school for the first time and scared the **** out of me so I left it until now and can get it up everytime in first just not high enough......Second w/ clutching but haven't got that down either. I can get it up but not above 1ft.....I think I start going to fast to make a diference. Once it starts topping out then it isn't coming up and is just accelerating......

What do you think.........
