Nissin 4 piston problem

I’m using the Hohey caliper adapter for my k5 gsxr 600 and long story short I order a hand brake line too short, so I’m using my handbrake line on the stock rear brake caliper(it makes it with room to spare) and the rear foot brake line is now connected to my 4 piston nissin that I originally ordered to work for my hohey adapter. The problem I’m having I can’t get pressure on the rear foot brake connected to the nissin caliper 3 hours trying the bleed and nothing. I ran out of brake fluid screwing around. Does the bleeder have to be facing up right? Because on the adapter the calipers bleeder is pointed towards the ground. Or does the foot MC not have enough power ?
