Yeh we have the FZ6 here too, the yamaha motocage concept is based on the XJ6N. an XJ6N track bike has become available to me for pretty cheap. so i was thinking of buying it and having a tinker with it

Looks and sounds stuntable. But in reality anything is. I've seen guys wheely goldwings and Harley's and other **** that shouldn't be wheelied.

The only problem you will encounter is getting stunt specific parts. I'm tipping your going to have to make your own. Or become very good friends with your local machining shop...

Good luck

Re: Has Anyone Used an XJ6 to stunt?

thanks,

yeh i have a friend who is a metal fabricator

i brought it anways because it was cheap, for a bit of fun.
the key has already been relocated to the side of the bike, and it also has a hyabusa front end with 6 pot piston breaks!!

i spoke to a friend (motorcycle mechanic) who helped to work on this bike previously and said you should have no problem wheeling.

ill take photos of the progress.

Re: Has Anyone Used an XJ6 to stunt?

Yes I have a fz6r that has a custom cnc mutibracket brake set up foot brake I have a brembo p34 and and brake a byebre mono block from a bmw g310r and the rear rotor is from a 1198 front rotor! Gearing I went with front is stock and chain is a heavy 150link cut down to fit and rear is 60t from 5thgearsprocket. Handle bars I went with protaper risers and fatbars. Stock front end till I find a 09 r1 front end and I'm using a hc1 margua master and a RCS easy pull. Tank was dented and wrapped cages I'm still getting made for it going with a two impact style and a subcage aswell with a 1inch titanium block that's been the build so far I'm still looking for a idle adjuster for it.
