Staggered wheelies
Staggered wheelies
So before some stupid drunk drivers almost ran me over (really, the car skidded way down the road smashing it's front and back bumpers and lights), I was out earlier tonight messin' about and trying to get the hang of staggered wheelies.
I'm much more comfortable doing seated wheelies, but still rarely make it to the balance point.
I'm...
... 5 mins later...
ok so every time I try to think about how to ask my question the answer screams at me... Grow some *****, loosen up, and do it quickly!
The question was: How can i stop being so heavy on my arms when trying to get it up?
yea.. I guess that's the answer to pretty much any stunt question... Grow some ***** and have a try. I guess I'll click submit anyway, on the off chance of some amazing secret to making staggered wheelies feel easy.

Re: Staggered wheelies
Sit downs for me were harder to learn. I encourage people to do what's comfortable to start. The first time you hit balance it's pure panic. Then after a few times of too much brake then too much throttle you realize that weightless feeling like you are gonna fall backwards is "the sweet spot" that what we all started this for. Once you get the hang of sit down(or whatever is comfortable). You know the feeling and throttle control/brake tap rythem, you can try another position and once again you'll feel "the sweet spot". One step at a time. If you're half way through a position and change stances 10 times you'll never win you're mission of "the perfect wheelie". Lol. Relax, clear your head, loosen up, and respect the machine while you ride it like a pissed of dragon. Crunchy hippy stuff but it's true. If you're tense and afraid of it fear will overcome your senses. Study and dominate the beast and you'll succeed. Most of all, have fun and stay within your limits.
Sorry for the long winded babble but I'm well medicated because of a hernia. Feelin good!

Re: Staggered wheelies
well in my opinion the stand up staggered is way more comfortable. and it dont feel like you cant see where the **** you are going. thats why i gave up on even doing sitdowns.
