Question Turning up the idle

silly question ... my boy said you have to get engine work done to turn your idle up or it will mess with the bike.... is this true... or is he just a ******* dumbass

ok so im a dumb *** too. how the **** do i turn up the idle on a kawasaki zzr600?

On my bike it is a small flat head screw driver notch on the right side of my bike, close to the engine. I've see ***** you can turn by hand though. Just have a look around the bike. Or better yet, check your manual.

dont have the manual. tried to look it up online with no sucess

For the f4i you can't just turn the idle up with the stock idle **** because it does **** with the fuel ratio of the bike making it not run right. So we do a mod where its a screw that pushes the butterfly's open.

So it sounds like your friend is about right (if he's talking about a f4i, i can't say about other bikes since I dont have em)
