weight of person

ok does anyone no that if the weight of the person, puts more strain on the bike to do wheelies? or the lighter the person is, the easier he or she can do wheelies just asking since i weight 140

Re: weight of person

It really depends on how and what kind of wheelie you do. For example, if you just talk about sit down wheelies then the lighter you are the better because your weight is in front of the wheel. Yet for seat standers or when you put your weight in the 12 o'clock bar, the additional weight behind the rear axle makes the bike easier to wheelie. This is just from a theoretical standpoint. On my little brothers 100cc dirtbike switching positions makes a whole difference. And I weigh 160.

Re: weight of person

the minimal weight difference in the rider won't make a difference on strain when the bike itself is 500lbs already.
