Slowin the bike down

Been out of the game for way too long and comin back in on a new brand.

I took out the 06 gsxr last weekend and did a few standups at the lot but the thing just feels so wierd, almost twitchy with the throttle. My last dedicated stunter was an f4i with a pizza pan and it was smooth as butter when it came to throttle control.

You guys think a re-gear will settle this thing down? I'm hesitant to jump into slowin the whoolies down. At the least, gotta be easy on it till I pick up a cage.

Re: Slowin the bike down

i had a 05 gsxr and nothing changed the feel of it possibly could try a powercommander for the throttle response or run a sub throttle line which i never did on the gsxr if you want to slow it down in the lot, preferably just get a 636!

Haha, yea shoulda got a 636. There was a sick deal on one too when i bought the gixxer...

I need to do that mod to the butterfly valve. My valve motor is making some weird noises after the fuel pump primes anyway. It's like one of the cables is snagging. Will the mod just keep it open or what?

Re: Slowin the bike down

some gsxr 600's run a 15T up front, that will make most bikes more twitchy. jump up to a 16. When you get better, you might be fine going back to the 15.
