Thanks for not putting me in the colossal squid catagory. Look I decided to give this cage a shot i'm just letting you know from an outside company prospective what i think so far. i'll let you know as soon as i get this thing out to the lot and ride where it goes from there and i'll give you my honest opinion.

Re: On Point cage review
Thanks I put a lot of work into it and painted it myself! My front end is an 07 1000RR with a 954 lower tripple and a hohey top tripple, the bars are sick innovation side mounts.
Re: On Point cage review
I think the cage is tight. The two impact design of a cage I think is MONEY on f4i's, having hte bottom hit first, pulling the cage down, then the top part hits pulling the cage up, and evening out he blow.
If a cage hits just at the slider, then it just pushes the cage in one direction, and imo will bend bolts faster and could cause problems quicker
Lower profile, and less bulky would be nicer also if you design a new one. Lot's of people want as low of profile as possible
I have the tools and know how to make my own so I'm too cheap to buy one lol...

if your to bulky you cant drift for **** its a fine line the cage hitting the bottom first and then slider is exactly how mine works which is a good design. but as far as profile goes make sure it keeps the important **** off the ground cause thats the first thing people will bitch about is broken parts that the cage should prevent from hitting the ground Thread
