05 r6 second idle mod.... any ideas?

so i know f4is have a second idle mod. i just cant seem to get my circles down bc i bog my bike out way to easily. i searched all over for this second idle mod for an r6 but havent found anything. the clean air mod made a little differece but a tougher idle would definetly give me the last little bump i need to conquer these damn circles and 12 bar scrapes. thanks in advance!

i may be wrong but i think the stock idle cable opens the butterflies just like the throttle on the 05 ..

the f4i needs the second cable because the stock cable doesnt open the butterflies it just richens the mixture ..

well during the searches i have been doin i found out that the stock idle adjuster on the r6 does control the air/fuel ratio so theres gotta b a mod for the butterflys right?

ok if that is the case then just find the idle set screw that stops the butterflies when you let go of the throttle and replace it with an idle cable ..

not on the 05's.....the idle adjuster is the only cable which is located on the left of the throttle bodies, and comes oujt of the right side of the bike. check your tps sensor.....idk why it would be bogging? If your tps is not working or on the right setting try and adjust it in dealer mode. If thats not it, synch the throttle bodies.

Having owned every popular bike that is stunted I can tell you that the only bikes that need a secondary idle are hondas. F4i, 600rr and even 1000rr main idle goes to the wax unit which adjust fuel/air mixture. Kawis, suzukis and yamahas all have their idle cables/screws adjusting the throttle bodies. Where ever you got that information from was wrong. If your bike is bogging maybe stop hammering the brake.

+1 my 05 is a tractor... and the brakes are the best ive ever had..so set the idle at 3gs and go for it.. key to circles is to commit!
