05 R6 set up & pics

I hear the 05 R6 is a sweet bike to stunt, all bar the weakish subframe.

Anone got any good set up pics?

Re: 05 R6 set up & pics

magura is the master, the tank was a bitch but i got it just right after 2 days ofworking with it. 05is the same as the "S" model only with inverted forks and some other little ****. im coming off an f4i and ive rode just about everything and i like the R6..hence why im on one..lol deff a great street killer FYI -1 +6 is perfect for both street and lot

Re: 05 R6 set up & pics

so - to clarify - is yours the S model like this (older one)

has it got the twin fans? (one of them has twin fans...?)

or this (newer one)

(Although I'm not sure if I'm confused and this only came out in 06.)

Re: 05 R6 set up & pics

the old style..05 came with the inverted frontend, twin fans, bigger injectors and throttlebodies, and a different ecu. other than that they are the same bike. the new R6 (06and up) i dont have much experience with so i cant comment.

Re: 05 R6 set up & pics

That's pretty much exactly what I'm after - looks totally pimp, cheers for posting

hows that stock subframe holding up?

the bike on the post below yours has the scrapeworks sub frame but with a round bar, the sneaky flat one looks awesome, and probably works great too - a little stability.
