SI Cage..

So... last night i was stuntin its been 2 weeks since i got back on cause i don't like to stunt alone and was waiting for a buddy to get back from vaca.. we were stuntin last night.. first time on my f4i with 10+ 1- sprockets, clean air delete, sick innovation cage blah blah blah...

first off i only had one problem with this cage which i don't blame SI necessarily but i went to put the cage on and the rear engine mount threaded rod was a little short the threads were just long enough to get the bolts on i was tightened one side and as soon as i tightened the other the threads just popped off no biggie i went to the local hardware store and picked up some 3/8 threaded rod $3 oh well..

second off.. im doing wheelies learnin bp and get a lil tired and start doing christs .. my 3rd one in im feeling comfortable my girl was sittin watchin and i decide to flip her off while im in a christ.. there goes my luck .. i don't know what happen i started to go down and i jumped off i tried to run i only got a few steps and did a parkour roll got back up and started chasing the bike.. unfortunately i didn't catch the pipe.. fortunately the bike went up over a curb and smash a tree instead of going into a 30ft ditch...
The SI cage smashed the tree and took a chunk out of the tree.. my handle bar moved a little back.. but absolutely nothing happened to the cage or bike no bolts bent no welds broke no pipes bent EXCEPT for the frame slider that comes on the cage shot off.. I'm seriously impressed ill never get any other cage

anyways... does anyone know why i jumped off the bike? cause i have no god damn idea

heres the picture of the tree and cage

Re: SI Cage..

If the cage took a hit that hard, id still take the bolts out and check to see if they are bent or not.

Re: SI Cage..

so had the same thing happen to me! ive done christs on scooters 1000 times but the first time on my old fz600 went bad.... 4000 RPM idle in third gear at 40 k/h a huge gust of wind from the front hit me and i fell off the back..... bike went 400 feet down the road and off into a field and then hit a tree... im guessing this is what happend all i know is there was a **** load of parts lying around and the rest of the bike laying in 4 foot tall grass about 15 feet from a tree. heres before and after pics....
