1st its a honda, it probably would be fine riding it like it is.
2nd,,, all your doing is welding a plate over a hole.. If your worried about that little weld on a not oh so important area of the frame just go to the next stunt comp in your area and look at every 03-06 636 frame. If everyone feels safe riding with reinforced/repaired frames on kawi's whats a little hole covered up on a motor mount ear gonna do.. But thennn again, 600rr frames are everywhere. **** i got one thats salvage in my garage right now. anyways just do whatever is the easiest, your be fine either way just be careful.

Looks good. I would have probably made the brace bigger, but I'm sure that will be more then fine.
Like Lit said, it would have probably have been fine without fixing it, but I'm sure its perfectly fine now.
And Merk, I'd rather 'cruise' a janky bike, then stunt one! Going to put a lot more stress on a bike slamming wheelies down and crashing then you would on the street.
Of course I'd never take a janky bike above 100-120mph ish

Re: Weldin a hole in the 05 600RR frame
that thing slid so far and hard that it HAD frame sliders and it even wore those down!!!! all i gotta say is F that frame and spend the cheddar to buy a new/used one... i wouldnt feel comfy riding on a fix like that... thats just me tho... i had an f4i frame that cracked at the neck and had it welded and braced... well those welds cracked so i braced it up even more... ya... not a good idea... damn thing cracked in another spot... frames are made to flex... and if it doesnt flex in the right spot then something else is gonna give... im not saying ur gonna brace it 6 ways from sunday but in my opinion the plate thats gonna get welded on there is gonna b stronger than stock and will give out eventually.. just my 2 cents.. sry for the rant
