a 400ex is more comparable to a ninja 250 on power..

A 450r is a little more like a sport bike, in the fact it has tons of power and not a whole lot of low end torque.

But of course, side to side balance comes into play on a sport bike big time, especially at low speeds.

quads can teach brake control, and it transfers directly to sport bikes. After learning brake control on a 50/quad, It literally took me 5 wheelies to have it 'figured out' on my sport bike

 

cmon son!! im not a noob...i can ride.... and i know it is way more dificult to hold idle on stock gears than w/ a 60t! the f4i is such a bog machine anytime you brake the engine down below idle rpm's it has a hard time recovering w/o bliping the throttle..... im not sayin you cant do it, but for a beginner to try and get slow stuff it would be benificial for him to start out geared down....that was all i was saying.... stock gearing took its toll on my clutches too..... get a sprocket you will be better off

really thought just because i can rock a quad dosnt mean i expect to be able to rock a big bike. thats why im posting this is because im trying to learn

 

an I would love to take a road trip an ride with some ppl, It would be nice to see some riding in person....I really have never even seen someone in person even try a pow pow. so other then stunt life asking question im 100% on my own an by the end of the summer i will be doing circles. dont care if I break bones I have before, dont care if I have buy 6 bikes to stay learning. Its what I want to do and thats that!!!!!

 

good attitude...but i will tell you 0's are painfull!!! took me months to get any consistancy.... if you want 0's dont run low tire pressure....there is a tip for you......where you live anyways??

went out today got some seat time in hitting backroads. Im feelin it a little more, setting the idle helped out a hell of a lot. I feel like Im actully improving now!!!
