Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?

Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
no one ever said you "cant" stunt a certain bike. and if they did they obviously dont stunt. ever seen travis pastrana backflip an old cruiser? anything can be done when you have the skills to do so. however there are some bikes that have more of what ppl like than others. for most the 636 and f4i fall into that category. ive owned every popular 600 out and i did like some things about the 600rr but what i didnt like is that its a pain in the *** to work on and its a stall machine. the 636 in my opinion is better simply on the idle pull alone. i ride an r6 now which has just as good of an idle pull but has better brakes than the 636 and is smaller physically. idk its alot of differences that suit what certain ppl want. no such thing as a bike you cant stunt. ppl kill it on harley's man if that doesnt say it all...

I like the 900rr's, those are fun. My buddy stunts and rides a 636, Its a nice machine, great looks and feel. I personally like to be different and usually take a different path than others. I like the liter bikes but the 600s are easier in many areas.

Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
ive ridin a r6 ,f4i .and 04 636, and 06 636....havent really pancaked all of them but i rode them enough to know witch is better for me and im mainly past the stage of yard sales i got pretty good clutch work for a person only riding one year.....f4i is my first choice they are tuff and very easy to ride then would be a 06 636 cuz they have good pull and there not as tiny as the 04..... then i would go r6 very tourqey and nice if you know what your doing never rode a gsxr so i dont know about that....

i only ever rode a harley, couldnt afford a "croch rocket". rode my friends gixxr 1k and felt like i was gonna flip it then when i did it was like watchin a brick hit a window.just bought a wrecked f4i threw a subframe on it, took it out in my lot and after about 5 tries was riding wheelies across my lot.like i said ive only ever rode about 50 miles on any bike, let alone a street bike.
f4i's are the ****! i love my f4i,i keep it in my living room and my wife is jealous.i dont care i love riding on one wheel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
i got off work one day and down at the other end of the parking lot there was a stuntshow goin on the guy was killin it with a 600rr. i mean he wasn't super impressive but none the less he was better than the other stunter there. i've seen a few guys here stunt rr's. i had a bad wreck on my rr over 2 years ago and nothing on it cracked i mean yeah everything on it was bent but considering i went straight into the ground at 45mph and the bike rolled a few times before stopping in the ditch. it was still running too, because the guy before bypassed the tip over sensor for stunting. i recently found another rr i'm probably gonna pick up cause i have a few stunt parts already. so really it comes down to what you wanna do and what you can get. like everyone said you can stunt anything with practice and skill.

Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
What's a good year to stunt a 636
Agree with what they both said pretty much lol. If you do decide to go with the 600rr get an OMR Subcage for standup wheelies. The stock peg position on the rr is really cramped and he beats this by placing the pegs back down and out for a roomier feel while in wheelies. And like slidewayz said the rr throttle is really twitchy. You can solve that by putting on an F4i throttle tube. There's a thread on here or stuntride where someone asked about it and I told them to try that since I put the rr throttle tube on my F4i and it became twitchier which to me was just more responsive since the F4i is a turd lol. They put the F4i throttle tube on and said it was gangsta and definitely took care of the twitchiness
But to answer your question - most people ride F4i's because they are tanks like slidewayz said. Ive bounced my **** off the ground and pancaked my **** a million times and just pick it up and keep riding. When I had a gsxr, pretty much I would break something once a week. Frames/subframes are very weak. They're good if you know what you're doing though. If you get a gsxr impakteck makes a solid steel subframe and something called a nate plate I think it is which is good. Look it up if you're gonna go that route. People ride the 636's coz they're all around good stunt bikes. Cant handle as much abuse as an F4i but they pull exceptionally well on idle and IMO once you learn on the F4i it's a great step up. I'm sure most people would say the same thing. If you're just learning, I'd stay away from the rr and either cop an F4i or a 636. You should go with the F4i coz they're tanks but if you want something that looks a little nicer than the 636 is the bomb. I cant say **** about the R6's coz I never did wheelies on one. Good luck. Oh and if you do a search this topic has been covered a million times already
