Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
Just sold my 04 600RR and got an 01 F4I. I love the F4I and hate my 600RR even more now that I know how much it sucked. Thank god I got rid of that thing... If your a beginer like I am, F4I is the way to go.

well just about got my 06 rr fully set up just got to dent tank and get stock exhaust or round bar. have only hit the streets for a min and have just got used to the breaks and already loving it. Idle pulls awesome non of that f4i bog, not really sure what this twicthyness is everyone keeps talking about it just feels responsive and a whole lot lighter then my tank f4i. going to the lot this weekend, no round bar yet and i am not the best rider so lets start on the abuse factor. till then loving it. ***** ganster and looks way better then f4i or 636 IMO, *****

Never said I was a tech. Have worked for big 4, and Harley. Just know ****. IDK. I don't have a Master's in Sanitation Engineering to know garbage when I see it. IDK is nobody gives a ****, maybe they do, maybe they don't.... but seems if someone asks how to do something, or why something is one way or another...etc, it would make sense that someone (even if it's not me) that knows wtf they're talking about answered their question or made a suggestion. I've been wrong about things too, but usually don't comment if I don't know.

636= tiny bike with tin frame and junk trany. R6 great stunt bike but most dont want to flip the 375 or more on a subframe. F4I best bike ever made for this sport

Re: Why is the F4i and 636 > the cbr 600rr and R6?
I was reading a issue of stuntride magazine at work (issue #8) today.... Now I'm back at Honda, and haven't had a chance to post in a min... I was thinking about this thread while I was looking at the rag, and couldn't sleep, so I logged on.... Low and behold, there was the thread again... So now I have to ask those "involved".... and maybe I'm missing something, but why exactly does everyone feel this way about the 600rr?? There are plenty of pro's rocking the double R, and I see LOTS of people killing it on the RR on the West Coast, and no complaints from them. Even the 08 and 09's. So that says, that even after years or stunt riding, they still went out and got a new 600rr.
Then, there are people on this site and the other that stunt all kinds of ****, So I wouldn't think that it is so much the bike as the rider. There are guys killing it on Suzukis, Yamahas (which I have always thought were junk, but other guys love them) and all sorts of bikes. Hell, there are guys killing it on Ninja 250's in Europe, and everyone has seen hodgies MURDERING it on scooters, and 2-stroke beater assed 25-30yr old piece of **** bikes with NO sprockets, no cages, no handbrakes, no frame sliders, no helmets, no jackets, no gloves, no $200 stunt boots.... just ******* killing it on whatever two wheeled bike they can get there curry smelling dick beaters on.
Maybe I'm missing something... The RR has the same radial mounted brakes that most bikes come with these days, great suspension, is light and has just as much power as a ZX6...
I've heard:
Can't stunt Gixxers.. but several pro's do, and lot's of guys STARTED on Suzuki's
Can't stunt Yamahas... but Bill Dixon (and several others) murders it on a chamaha
Can't stunt liter bikes... but European stunters **** all over everone...... on liter bikes
Can't stunt 600rr...... but I haven't really seen anyone distinctively better than Colton and he does
the OG white boy stunt bike is the 900rr.
In 1999, the 900rr had 112 hp (crank horsepower), 60 ft/lb torque, telescopic forks, shitty brakes and had a dry weight of 409 lbs...
The 600rr now has roughly 112 hp AT THE TIRE, 50 ft/lb torque, inverted forks with compression and rebound damping, radial mounted brakes/masters and holy dogshit kids, weighs about 50 lbs less.
Let me clarify, I don't own a 600RR and I never have. I have only rode them. I'm NOT a "pro" and don't claim to be. But I have had both an 06' 636, and a 06' GSXR 600... and I personally like the RR better than both of those bikes. I've ridden the R6 (07/08) and like it also. Not bagging on the ZX6, but I just wonder if everyone is riding it because they have rode all the rest and like it better, or are just riding it because everyone else is? Kawi's bikes have been decent since 03/04..... but Honda has ALWAYS had quality bikes. I've had my 03' 954 since it was new, and have crashed it so many times I couldn't count them, and had 3 MAJOR wrecks on it... my original FI cage fell to pieces before the frame was ever bent, cracked or anything. One wreck was on the highway, and the bike barrel rolled several times, before flipping end over end about 4 times, that broke the forks, demolished the wheels, broke the subframe completely off.... yet the frame is as true as the day I bought it. In fact over the years, the ONLY thing that is still original from the bike is the frame. I got an extra frame over a year ago just in case her number was up, and still haven't used it. Just collecting dust in the garage.
Yet, while working at Kawi.... I've seen all kinds of fucked up 636's, and have seen them totaled out, and motors blown to pieces, broken frames like crazy, and none of them were even stunt bikes. I also have yet to PERSONALLY see the forks break the way that everyone says they do. I still like the ZX6, but I can tell you from personal experience, it is just as fragile as any other bike out there.
That's just my personal experience, and obviously I don't know it all, but I was just wondering that?
So is it because the Cali riders are that much better than the rest of the world that they can rock RR's but no one else can? (I doubt it, but that's they way some of you make it sound).
