Stunting in the Military
Re: Stunting in the Military
im in active duty right now with the air force, and 2 of my best friends are with the 167th airwing in martinsburg with the national gaurd. Everyone loves to watch us stunt lol. Superiors completely approve of it and let us do our thing out in this little area by a hanger they no longer use. But its also for just US, and no one else. Every now and then I can bring like 1 or 2 ppl, plus my self and 2 of my best friends (which are in the military at that base). I can come and go as i please, at first we would get stoped by the security there but now they just know what up, so its all good. Military is where its at right now. which branch you going into
Re: Stunting in the Military
**** the army, the ******* air force actually treats you like a real person. As for the getting hurt part..... thats the only thing there iffy on. Kinda have to know the right ppl I guess.

Re: Stunting in the Military
easy there killer. the reason why the army is harder on people is because we're the ones actually fighting the fight, same as marines. i have no issues with the airforce, jumped out of plenty of your c-130 and c-17's. airforce and navy are more of an actuall job, marines and army are a way of life. it sounds cheesy but you have to live and breathe it cuz its inevitable that you'll be put in a hairy situation overseas. watch what you say when you say stuff like "**** the army". im a proud veteran that has seen more **** in 25 seconds than you have in 25 years homie

Re: Stunting in the Military
i didnt mean **** the army as in the "people in the army" i personally have many good friends who have been fucked over so hard in so many situations with them. yea marines and army does most of the fighting, and most of air force does most of the jobs, like careers for ppl just like you said. but you also need to look into cct, or tacp, and many others that are on the front lines as well. ****, tacp is pretty much army. And the cct training is no ******* joke. overall it seems to me that you actually have options with the air force, thats all im saying. much respect with anyone in the armed forces
Re: Stunting in the Military
i just got out of the army, im not really a stunter yet but im working on it. you jsut have to rember to wear all your safty gear or the MP's will love givin you tickets. as far as ride time you will more then likely just have a 9-5 type job, but with pt at 5am **** like that, most of the weekends will be yours unless you have training that weekend.
haha gettin in trouble does seem to get you rank, i got promoted 4 times in 3 years got out as a sgt (e-5)

Re: Stunting in the Military
Yea I'm in Iraq right now. I guess the best advice I could give is be careful who ou talk to it about and the most important thing be careful what job you pick. Your MOS has alot to do with what you will be able to get away with during your off duty activities. I'm tellin from experience as a 13B they think they can control what i do when where home. Haha That's wh I got demoted for going home to FL every weekend on my bike without the proper paperwork done. Wrong person saw me do the wrong thing and they will **** it up for you. By the way good luck finding someone to stunt with lol that's amusing. Most people with bikes like to pretty them up real nice.

we also had "pj's" come to take away some of our casualties at one point Re: Stunting in the Military
No, you must not understand the difference between public property and private property
Did you also know you can get a ticket for riding a quad/dirt bike on the streets?

Just ride in a legal place and you can tell the cops to quit trespassing and get out of the way
If you risk breaking the law, you risk the consequences
and again

you can stunt in the military, just don't break any laws doing it.

Re: Stunting in the Military
my last co found out i had a bike and heard stories from other guys from the ship taking about it and decided to have a safety stand down. Had a CO's inquiry and all with me my LCPO and LPO, to more or less tell me what i was doing was against the ucmj etc.. told him i had a stunt bike and a street 1000, he asked me what i liked to do while i ride. COuldnt exactly lie but yea, he was pressuring the command to not buy sport bikes if they were under 25. then i think last year or in 08 a chick up in Jacksonville was riding in the rain on a CRUSIER dam hd sportster with no helmet PPE jacket etc she had a pair of glasses on.. and got dragged behind a semi. she lived =\ then they implemented that bs SRC courses. needless to say i still stunt as the new bulletin came out puting the rules in black in white =] shes the reason for the dam SPORT BIKE CLASS THO!!! cruiser jacks up and sport bikes take the heat WTF. atleast after that accident is when the air and naval base put it into effect for the src course
as far as time ha dont join an engineering rate if u go Navy, u have no liberty. u live in the bilges! then again deployments make getting back on the bike feel so awkward. really!!! look into other options before u sign that line.

jack asses. Slightest bit of wind or dark clouds and they back out of a ride. and best of all the busa galore. from a 600 to a boosah and 90% of them are the cool leather club vest member riders
i stick to riding with the locals they make **** alot more interesting. Re: Stunting in the Military

Re: Stunting in the Military
That's very true. Why would we stop knowing we're getting a $1k fine and the time after is worse and the time after is much, MUCH worse? Run, run, run... I've done it a good amount and haven't even came close to being caught and it's definitely an adrenalin rush. Can you imagine what'll happen to someone in the military if they get caught running?

if you got caught running in military you would get f'd in the A....running is fun after you get away, but all kinds of **** can get ugly quick, **** around and get yourself killed over a 1,000 dollars
