will 120 links be enough for a up 17 rear sprocket on a 06 636

is it a 63?? i am almost positive up to a 66 rear you can run 120

go with 130 links then cut off three links.


According to my calcs you need a 127 link. (that is if you are going up 17 teeth in the rear and stock front.)

06 636 has a 520 chain with 110 stock links 43t rear 15t front


according to the people at vortex you add a link for every tooth you add in the rear.......do the math and you get 127...



its a ruff guideline and seems to work. If the chain is super stretched out or stretches over time you may need to take a link off but its a good start and the method has not failed me yet.....good luck and use a rivet master link!

right on thanks for the help i guess its worth the 7 bucks to not have to peice one together anyways lol
