OMR of FMX
Re: OMR of FMX
I'm sure there are some who preach out of fear for their own soul, that's called trying to earn their way into heaven, nothing we can do can, no amount of good works can get us to heaven. If that's the case what Christ did on the cross is null and void.
John 14:6 Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no on come to the Father exept through me."
Act 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in other, for there no no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
I'm not preachiong religion casue it's not about religion, God hates religion, religion is man made. It's about a relationship, all ways was and will be.
And IMO it takes more faith to believe that we came from monkeys and the earth just happened, than to believe that there is a creator that cares and loves us.

Re: OMR of FMX
A JOKE??? How is that even close to funny?
If you want something to make fun of, why don't you check out my stunt ministry website... www.kingdomstunters.com
Feel free to make all the jokes you want about me, but I'm warning you that mocking Jesus Christ will come back on you. God will forgive you if you truly repent, but if you don't, you will spend an eternity in hell.
I don't care about all the religions you speak of. I'm honestly testifying about the Truth of the gospel of Jesus. I use to be a great sinner, but one day I finally realized my emptiness and depravity. It was on that day that I repented to God for my sins and pleaded on my knees in tears for God to forgive me and change my heart. At that moment, God poured out His love in my heart and lifted the burden of my sin. And let me tell you, God answered that prayer and it was a life changing experience. I felt the presence of God and since that day I have been resolved to live every day completely devoted to living for Christ.
I hope you will consider the life you are living.

Re: OMR of FMX
Good point, old man roger. Here is probably the clearest biblical response that I know of for that question.
"All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares." --Paul (Romans 2:12-16)

so your answer is yes ? any one that has not been taught your religion will be damned to hell ?
think of all the people , native americans , jungle tribes , african planes tribes and all the others through out the history of man that are damned to hell just because some christian didnt happen to teach them his religion...if you are right that doesnt sound like a just god to me

But once a person has been told the truth, (that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that we are all in need of the only Savior that can remove our sins and save us from the wrath of God) and yet they reject that truth, then they will receive the wrath of God.
one more verse along these lines:
"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' and again, 'The Lord will judge his people. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Hebrews 10:26
That's alot of reading!
Re: OMR of FMX
Ok, I don't think I said yes...if I did that was a typo. Whenever this topic is brought up I look at this one particular verse in the book of Romans...because it does kinda pinpoint the issue. Here (Rom. 2:12-16) the apostle Paul is talking about the Gentiles who do not have the law. Gentiles is a bible term that really just means anybody who is not of Jewish decent...as the jews received the law through Moses. So a Gentile encompassed any group of people who were not taught the law, and did not have the ten commandments (at the time that Paul wrote Romans, the roman people were considered Gentiles...and so were the african tribes and people in China and where ever). Anyway, in this scripture, Paul basically explains that anyone who did not have the law (to obey...because just hearing the law without obeying it was useless) still have the requirements of the law written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness. I really think that when God mad mankind that he programmed us with a conscience that knows what's right and what's wrong. It sure seems that no matter what people group you look at, all groups will unanimously agree that it is wrong to kill another person, or steal...etc. But, once a person has received the law, this passage says that they will be judged according to what they know. If they have never been taught the law, it seems that God is going to judge them according to what they do know. "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature-- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20
But once a person has been told the truth, (that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and that we are all in need of the only Savior that can remove our sins and save us from the wrath of God) and yet they reject that truth, then they will receive the wrath of God.

what translation is your book? Re: OMR of FMX
thanks man.
It's an NIV/Message parallel bible. I generally just read the NIV side, but the Message is good if you like the most modern english (a bit wordy, imo). Both are alot easier to read then KJV.
When I first started reading the bible on a regular basis (2 yrs ago) I had a NLT (new living translation) it was ultra easy to understand, but she's falling apart...kinda like my stunt bike
